Pura Collagen has announced that it will introduce the M-Tick symbol to its product packaging. Following a successful trial instore and online at Boots, the brand will become the first brand to launch the menopause-friendly symbol.
The symbol was introduced by organisation GenM to help customers make better informed choices when buying products to support them through the menopause. GenM is the menopause partner for 80 brands, including Holland & Barrett, and was founded with the mission to help brands recognise and respond to the needs of women experiencing menopausal and perimenopausal symptoms.
The M-Tick will only be displayed on menopause-friendly products that meet GenM’s strict criteria. The symbol was created by GenM in response to research that highlighted that 91% of the menopausal women participating in the study had never seen any marketing for menopause-friendly beauty products and only 36% currently find it easy to choose menopause-friendly products instore. This post is sponsored by our partners.
The symbol will now appear on Pura Collagen’s products including the new advanced menopause supplement BALANCE and the brand’s existing range including Glow+, Flex+, SLEEP and PROTECT. Each product from the brand addresses different menopause and perimenopausal symptoms including thinning hair, changes in skin texture, fatigue and altered skin.
Jennifer Mo, founder of Pura Collagen, says: “Pura Collagen has been creating solutions for menopausal women since launch. We are loud and proud about how these women should be seen, heard and supported. Menopause affects over 15.5 million women in the UK, which is one-third of the female population. Adding a symbol on to our packaging to help women navigate menopause-friendly products was a no-brainer. We have supported GenM at every step since we joined and will continue to do so on this incredible journey”.
